Orange District Cricket Association

The mooted extra grade has been put on ice for now, following a recent meeting of the Association where clubs indicated their likely team nominations. Team nominations are close to being known with 7 teams expected for Second Grade, 8 or 9 teams in Third Grade and 7 teams for Centenary Cup. We expect to be able to announce teams by early next week. With the new season getting closer, there has been discussion at recent meetings about potential grades and other possible changes or additions to our season, so we thought it was an opportune time to give you an update. At a recent meeting of the association, the idea of adding a new grade was floated. That grade would sit in between the current Third Grade and Centenary Cup grades. Our Annual General Meeting was held on 30 June and it was pleasing to see all clubs represented, with several representatives from the club's women's teams in attendance as well.
